The Bag lady
If you happen to see a little girl walking around with huge bags  covering most of her body.. that's ME.. on my way to my boyfriends house :) I LOVE the nights that I stay at Ryan's but whoa am I ever so sick of packing bags. I am sure all you girls in the "in between stage" know what I am talking about!!! First off, I am a HORRIBLE packer... I always find myself with NOTHING to wear but yet I have brought 10 bags with me?!?! If I find a dress I want to wear.. I forgot the right bra.. or the matching shoes.. or have no accessories. Ry laughs at me because every time I have to get dressed up at his house.. because, it's nothing less than a "Production". Consequently, I end up leaving the house feeling like my 'A Game Outfit' is hanging in my apartment closet, and I have settled for it's sloppy stand-in. Then there are weekends where we go on vacation.. that requires two sets of packing!!! The packing for the overall time I will be at his house, and the particular vacation bag. I now own more cute over night bags than I do things to put in them. To try and fix this problem, I started leaving stuff there, but that just stresses me out more (all the laundry complications, forgetting whats where, etc).
My newest solution.. is to keep a pad of paper and pen by my keyboard at work where I jot down "outfit ideas" through out the week so when Thursday comes, I can take it home with me to use as my packing guide... The only problem with this is, I feel like I have to hide it whenever my boss or employees come into my office.. "Misty's Packing Guide" written in curly writing with hearts around it, and a stick figure of me carrying bags with an ex through.. I fear may come off a bit.... unprofessional...

You may be a pickier dresser than me, but I used to keep some basics at my bf's house (like jeans, a t-shirt, clean socks, underwear) and would wash them as needed and bring them back. I hope your note-taking works! You can always hide it in a book, and close it when people come into your office.

In 2005, I was with my college BF at the time, who lived in San Diego. So I totally feel you on the packing bit and forgetting the one thing you really needed was a pain considering I couldn't just run home to get it! :)

Oh I hate having to carry my stuff back and forth! It got to the point of me buying two hair brushes etc, to leave there.

Great idea! I was the same way before we decided to move in together ~ so much easier now! Although, I still have some clothes in AZ... eek, I forgot about them until just now, haha, I am spread out all over the country!

I always had the same thing happen to me! I was always so worried about not having a certain pair of shoes, or not even feeling like wearing what I had packed! We finally moved in together after two years and that has made things a lot easier!
